The Standard Template for Electronic Publishing (STEP) is a joint venture between several leading Bible software publishers and book publishers.
A STEP-compatible book must meet certain industry standards as defined by the Bible Software Industry Standards Group (BSISG). STEP defines a common data file format for electronic books that allows numerous companies to publish books that are compatible with software developed by different software publishers.
QuickVerse is based on the STEP standard. STEP is the methodology used to produce all of the titles available in the QuickVerse product line.
