The books of the Bible are not listed in alphabetical or chronological order. Rather, they are grouped loosely by their type.

The Apocrypha
The Apocrypha are books and portions of books from the Old Testament that are not included in the Hebrew canon of Holy Scripture. Many editions of the Bible prepared by Protestant faiths follow Hebrew Canon. Editions of the Latin Vulgate text, officially approved by the Roman Catholic Church, contain Apocryphal books incorporated within the sequence of the Old Testament.
