4.2b - Copy a Passage

It is easy to copy an entire passage or multiple passages from a book in your QuickVerse library to a word processor or other programs. QuickVerse, through the Copy Passage feature, makes it easy to quickly see passages from different books side-by-side for comparison.

To Copy a Passage

Open the passage you want to copy

Right-click on the text in the Book Window. This brings up the context-sensitive menu.

Select the Copy Passage option. This opens the Copy Passage Window.

In the Copy Passage Window, you have a number of options:

Passages - identify the passages you want to copy. If you have selected the Copy Passage Window from the context-sensitive menu, QuickVerse automatically populates this field with the name of the currently open passage.
Type - select how you want QuickVerse to copy the passage. Options include:
Enhanced Copy (default)
Print
Standard Copy
From - use the drop-down list to select from which Bibles or books you want to copy the selected passage. Options include:
Current Book
All Open Books
All Bibles
Bible List - if you select this option, you can choose the books to include from the Copy Passage Translation Selection Window.

To include books from which you want the passage copied:

Select the books from those offered by QuickVerse (If you want to include all books,  click the Select All Button)
Click the OK Button when finished.

Tip

You can also select the Copy Passage option from the Edit Menu to go directly to the Copy Passage Window where you can specify a passage to copy.
