4.2h - Emailing a Passage or a Book

QuickVerse enables the user to email Bible passages or documents using Microsoft Outlook. You must have Microsoft Outlook as the default email system for this feature to work.

Note

QuickVerse Send feature works with Microsoft Outlook 2000 or newer.

QuickVerse Send Options

Send Current Document - Will send the entire document in the current Bible you are in. Example: if you are at John 3:16 and choose Send Current Document from the Context-sensitive menu, QuickVerse will send the entire document/chapter of John 3.
Send Current Passage - Send the passage of your choice in the Bible of your choice. You can choose to send the current passage Enhanced Send or Standard Send.
Enhanced Send - The Enhanced Send option is tied to the Enhanced copy and the Enhanced Settings under Edit in the main program. This option will send the passage with the related Enhanced Settings that are set in the program.
Standard Send - This option will send the passage exactly as seen in the program.
Send Current Passage From Option.
o All Bibles - Current passage will be sent from all Bibles in the program.
o All Open Bibles - Current passage will be sent from all current open Bibles.
o Bible List - Use the Select button to bring up a list of Bibles to choose which to send from.
o Current Book - Will only send the passage from the current open book.

Example - Using the Send Feature

Find a Bible reference (e.g. John 3:16).

Right-click with your mouse on the Bible reference, or enter a Bible passage.

On the Context-sensitive menu that appears, left click on the Send option

Select to send the Bible reference as a Current Document or as a Current Passage.

Click on the Send Button. Microsoft Outlook will appear. The QuickVerse document or passage will be an attachment on the email.

Fill in the address field: To: and, if desired, CC:. If you choose, add text to the email explaining the purpose of sending the passage. When done, click the Send button on Microsoft Outlook
