The Preferences selection button is not marked. However, it is located in the lower right-hand corner of the Information Pane option of the Windows Tab.

To set default books in QuickVerse:

Click the Windows Tab

Go to the Information Panes section of the tab.

In the lower right hand corner of this section, there is a small button (see red star in above image), click this button. This activates the Preferences Context Sensitive Menu.

Any of the options within any category can be changed but to get started:

Select Default Books to set your default Bible, Dictionary, Topical, and Strong’s Hebrew and Greek. |

Click OK on the Default Books Menu |

Click the OK Button on the Preferences Menu to confirm and activate your selections

Preferences Category View:

QuickVerse Appearance - select how the QuickVerse desktop will appear. Configure the Skin, Colors, and Layouts. |

Default Books - Set program defaults for Bible, Topical Book, Dictionary, and Strong’s preferences for Greek and Hebrew. Use the Pick List button for each field to select your default for each field. (Refer to view below.) |

Copy/Paste Settings - Use the Copy/Paste Options to specify settings for the enhanced appearance of copied and printed text. |

Information Pane - select default Dictionaries, Bibles, and Commentaries for the Information Pane. |

Link Preferences - change settings for Pop-up Windows and Link Actions. |

Smart Tags - QuickVerse utilizes Microsoft Smart Tag technology enabling you to insert Bible references or pictures from QuickVerse without leaving your Microsoft document. |

Web Settings - setup your favorite online dictionaries/encyclopedias and search engines. Use the buttons to the right to Add, Edit, or remove your online dictionaries/encyclopedias. |
