When the meaning or origin of a word or name will enhance your understanding, you can use the Quick Define feature in QuickVerse to access this information.
To Retrieve Definition

Right-click on the word you want defined.
This will bring up the Context-Sensitive menu.

Select the Quick Define "text" option.
This will open the Quick Define Window with a definition.

Open any Bible.

Browse to Matthew 1:1 in the Table of Contents.

Click on the verse.
|

When the text appears in the Book Window, right-click on Abraham. This will bring up the context-sensitive menu.

In the context sensitive menu, select the Quick Define "Abraham".

This will open the Information Pane with the appropriate definition
