The easiest solution to most issues with QuickVerse is to reinstall the program. We advise you to follow the instructions below for a clean installation of QuickVerse 2008. |
Resolution:
To Uninstall:
1. Go into START>CONTROL PANEL>PROGRAMS>PROGRAMS AND FEATURES.
2. Locate QuickVerse 2008 in the listing and select Uninstall.
3. Close Control Panel window
4. To remove residual files left behind by the Windows uninstall, download and extract this ZIP file.
5. Right-click the extracted QV2008Removal.bat file and select "Run as Administrator"
To Reinstall:
1. Click on the Windows START button.
2. Type MSCONFIG in the "Start Search" window.
3. Locate and click on msconfig.exe in the search results.
4. Click on Continue if the UAC window pops up.
5. Select the STARTUP tab.
6. Click the DISABLE ALL button.
7. Choose the SERVICES tab.
8. Place a checkmark next to "HIDE ALL MICROSOFT SERVICES".
9. Click the DISABLE ALL button.
10. Click on Apply.
11. Click on OK.
12. Restart computer
13. When restart is complete, begin the install.
14. Insert the QuickVerse CD and install the program normally
To Complete the Process:
1. Click on the Windows START button.
2. Type MSCONFIG in the "Start Search" window.
3. Locate and click on msconfig.exe in the search results.
4. Click on Continue if the UAC window pops up.
5. Select the GENERAL tab.
6. Click the Normal Startup button
7. Click on Apply.
8. Click on OK.
9. Restart computer
