Issue:
Some customers need to "force" QuickVerse 2008 to import the library.xml file from QuickVerse 2007.
Application: QuickVerse 2008 (all versions)
Timing: 5 minutes
Notes: In some installation scenarios, the automated import process in QV 2008 is restricted.  In these cases, we recommend the following instructions for importing books from QV 2007.

Resolution:

Import the 2007 library.xml file:
1.      Open QuickVerse 2008.
2.      Click on the Library tab.
3.      Click on "Import Library Content" (immediately below Dictionaries).
4.   You will be prompted to select a source.
5.   Select the square with the three dots [...].
6.   Locate "Look in:"
7.   Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of this text
8.   Click on "Local Disc (C) drive".
9.   Click on "Program Files".
10.  Click on QuickVerse 2007
11.  Locate the Library.xml file (you will not see the ".xml" if you have file extensions turned off)
12.  Click OK.  You will get a popup saying that the import was successful.
13.  Exit QuickVerse 2008
14.  Open QuickVerse 2008.  You should now have access to the book titles from the previous version of QuickVerse.
