Using Library Management to import the NIV Family |

Depending on the purchase date of the NIV Family translations, you may have to use the following library management steps to import the NIV Family into QuickVerse. |
Resolution:
Copy the book files from a previous QV version:
1. Close QuickVerse if you have it open.
2. Browse to "My Computer" (or "Computer" on Vista).
3. Browse to C:\Program Files\QuickVerse 2007\QVBooks\
4. While holding down your crtl key, individually select the following folders:
QNI4O_u
ZB2TH_u
ZB2TJ_u
5. While your cursor is resting on one of these highlighted folder names, right-click to bring up the menu
6. Click on "copy".
7. Browse to either of the following locations:
QuickVere 2008 - C:\Program Files\QuickVerse 2008\QVBooks\
QuickVere 2009 - C:\Program Files\QuickVerse 2009\QVBooks\
8. Using your Edit option on your toolbar, select "paste".
9. Close all windows
10. Open QuickVerse.
11. With your curson anywhere in white space in the Library Pane, right-click to get the menu.
12. Select "re-scan library".
11. Verify that these books are now in your library under Bibles.
