Issue:
Reset QuickVerse Preferences to default settings
Application: QuickVerse 2009, 2008
Timing: 5 minutes
Notes: Some customers wish to reset their QuickVerse Preferences to the original installation state.  We advise the following procedures to reset the preferences for any given user on the computer.


Resolution:
 
Reset the User Preferences:
1.      Close QuickVerse if it is open.
2.      Rename the "QuickVerse 2009 <or 2008>" folder in the following location:
Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\<ComputerUserName>\Application Data\QuickVerse 2009 <or 2008>
Vista - C:\Users\<ComputerUserName>\App Data\Roaming\QuickVerse 2009 <or 2008> 
Suggested name - "QuickVerse 2009 <or 2008> Original"
3.      Open QuickVerse
You may register again, or proceed to step #4 to restore your prior registration
4.   Select "Register Later".
5.   Set your new defaults. (optional)
6.   Close QuickVerse.
7.   Browse to the renamed folder in step #2 and open the "Data" sub-folder.
8.   Highlight and copy the Registration.del file using ctrl + c.
9.   Browse to the newly reset QuickVerse 2009 <or 2008> folder and open the "Data" sub-folder.
10.  Paste the Registration.del file using ctrl + v.
11.  Open QuickVerse.  You should not be asked about registering again.
