QuickVerse allows you to detach and group windows in order to better organize the information on the QuickVerse desktop.

To Detach a Window:

Method 1:

Step

Description

1

Right-click on the active book.  This will activate a drop-down menu

2

Click the Detach option on the menu.  This will create the book window in a new configuration that you can then move to any area of  your monitor.  It can stand alone, overlap the original QuickVerse main application window, or be combined with other detached windows to form a grouping.

Method 2:

The book can be opened as detached from the library pane by selecting the "Open Detached" option of the drop-down menu for that pane.

To Create a Grouping:

Step

Description

1

Detach more than one window

2

Click and hold to Move the second (successive) window to overlap the first.

3

While still holding, a map will be shown over these windows giving you options for location of the secondary window (up, down, right, left).  As your cursor touches the arrows associated with the different locations, each will be highlighted

4

Release the mouse when the area where you want the newest window to be displayed is in highlight.

5

After the window is merged into the grouping, you can resize the window grouping to make it easier to view.

NOTE

An active book can only be grouped to one detached grouping window at a time.
