After opening multiple book windows, you might need to close some of them to get them out of the way.

To Close a Free Floating Window,

Click the Close button ("X") in the upper right corner of the window.

To Close a Docked Window,

Click the Close button ("X") in the far right-hand corner of the title bar next to the right and left scroll arrows.
Right mouse click on the window tab and select Close from the context menu.

To Close All Open Book Windows,

From the Window Tab, choose Close All.

NOTE

If you select the Close All Option from the Windows Menu, only Book Windows will be closed. But, if you have a Table of Contents from a book docked in the Navigation Pane, this will be closed when its book is closed.
