Smart Tag Technology:
QuickVerse utilizes Microsoft Smart Tag technology enabling you to locate and insert verses and text from QuickVerse without leaving your Microsoft document.
QuickVerse offers two Smart Tags Actions for use in Microsoft Office products that support the Smart Tags technology:

Bible Reference, i.e., John 3:16. Locate and insert the following items from QuickVerse. |

QV: - Note: you must enter the "QV:" Smart Tag as all upper case characters with the colon. Search for words and verse references in QuickVerse, and insert found items into your document. |
Press the Space bar to activate the Smart Tag.
Notes
QuickVerse Smart Tags will only work with Microsoft products that support the technology. (NOTE: Your version of Microsoft Word must be 2002 or newer.)
The Smart Tag features will use the QuickVerse default Bible, Topical, and Dictionary, and will recognize valid QuickVerse search bar entries.
To use the Bible Reference Smart Tag feature:

Enter a Bible reference in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel (e.g. John 3:16), where you want to insert a verse in your document.

Press the space bar to activate the Smart Tag Action

Place the cursor over the Bible reference. The Smart Tag Action will appear

Click the Smart Tag Action

Make a selection from the Bible Reference Smart Tag Menu options:

View Passage - Pops up a small window that allows you to scroll up and down in the passage you entered. |

Insert Passage - Inserts the passage into your document. |

Open VerseFinder - Pops up the QuickVerse BCV (Book/Chapter/Verse) tool, enabling you to browse the entire Bible. |

View Picture - Pops up the Parsons Bible Picture associated with the passage you entered. |
| • |
Insert Picture - Inserts the selected Parsons Bible Picture into your document. |
| • |
Settings - Allows you to configure the Smart Tag characteristics within QuickVerse. |
NOTE: These options can only be controlled from this menu. These features will appear grayed out from within QuickVerse (Options/Preferences/Smart Tags).

Check for New Actions - Links you directly to our website so you can check for any future additions to this Smart Tag technology. |

Remove this Smart Tag - Allows you to turn off Smart Tag recognition for a particular Bible reference. |

Note
From all pop-up windows, you can highlight and click on the selected text or click on a picture and drag and drop the text or picture into your document.
