The Design mode editor is a simple text editor. It provides basic formatting options in an easy-to-use tool bar.
Your user book must be placed in Design Mode for you to add to or edit text in your item. Once you place your user book in Design mode, the Design mode tool bar will appear displaying all the text formatting options for your user book.
To activate Design mode:

Click the Edit Section button on the User Book Window tool bar, or |

Right mouse click in the User Book Window and select Design Mode from the context-sensitive menu. |
