The Create New Hyperlink feature gives you several options for linking text in your user books to an existing file on your computer, an internet address, a verse reference, or to another topic in your user books. The linking of text takes place on the Create New Hyperlink dialog.
Create New Hyperlink also lets you create an email subject and enter an email address. Once you click OK on the Create New Hyperlink dialog, QuickVerse will activate Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. A new email screen will appear with the email address and subject fields filled in.

Your user book must be in Design mode

Use the mouse to highlight the topic, item, or text you want to link

Click the Create New Hyperlink button on the Design Mode tool bar, or right mouse click and choose Create New Hyperlink from the context-sensitive menu. The Create New Hyperlink dialog will appear

In the Link to section, select the link to option for linking your text
|

In the field corresponding to the Link to option you chose, enter the required information
|

Once you have completed your task, click the OK button on the dialog. The highlighted text in your user book will be linked. The text color will be blue and underlined

Click the Save button on the User Books Design mode tool bar, to save your changes

Click the Edit Section button on the Book Window tool bar, to activate the linking for your linked text
|
