The Unlink option is for those times when you realize you linked the wrong topic, item, or text, or you may want to unlink the topic, item, text, or verse reference because you no longer want it linked or you may want to change what the topic, item, text, or verse reference is linked to.
To unlink text in a User Book,

Your user book must be in Design mode

Use the mouse to highlight the topic, item, text, or verse reference you want to unlink.

Click the Unlink button on the Design mode tool bar |
OR
| • |
Right mouse click and choose Unlink from the context-sensitive menu. |
The topic, item, text, or verse reference will be unlinked
|

Click the Save button on the Design mode tool bar to save your changes
