Replace a Corrupt or Missing Audio Pronunciation File

Issue:
Some customers need to replace a missing/corrupt audio pronunciation file in QuickVerse 2009.
Application: QuickVerse 2009 (all versions)
Timing: 5 minutes
Notes: Some customers have experienced a missing or corrupt audio pronunciation file. We advise you to replace that file with the one included in the instructions below.


Resolution:
 
Download a New Audio Database File:
1.      Exit the QuickVerse program if you have it open.
2.      Download this audio replacement file: Audio File (36MB)
 
Replace the Missing/Corrupt File:
1.      Use a program such as WinZip to extract the file.
2.      Place the file in the Public or All Users data folder for QuickVerse.
Sample location for QuickVerse2009: C:\Users\Public\Documents\QuickVerse2009.
 
Test the new audio file:
1.   Open QuickVerse.
2.   Open any Bible in QuickVerse.
3.   Right-click on "God" in Genesis 1:1
4.   Select "Pronounce God".
