Depending on the Microsoft Applications and Services left running during the installation of QuickVerse, some customers have to manually register Smart Tags using the following steps. |
Resolution:
To Set Smart Tags:
1. Windows XP: go to START>All Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt
Windows 7 / Vista: go to START>All Programs>Accessories>(Right-Click on Command Prompt and select "Run as Administrator")
2. Type in regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\QuickVerse 2010\QVSmartTags.dll" (include the quotation marks) and press the Enter key. You will get a confirmation when the registration completes.
3. Open Word.
4. Select Tools.
5. Select AutoCorrect Options. A multi-tabbed dialog box appears.
6. Select "Smart Tags" tab.
7. Make sure that "Label text with Smart Tags" and "Show Smart Tag Action Buttons" are checked.
8. Scan through the list of smart tags to verify that all of the QuickVerse smart tags are checked.
9. Click OK. This closes the dialog box.
