There is a simple fix to this issue and can be resolved by following the directions below. |
Resolution:
Edit the Volume.ini file:
1. Browse on your computer to this location and copy the Volume.ini file to your desktop:
"C:\Program Files\QuickVerse 2007\QVBooks\Volume.ini".
2. Open the Volume.ini file now located on your desktop with Notepad:
(This program is usually located in START\Accessories).
3. Use the "Replace" tool located in the Edit menu (or use CTRL + H.)
4. Enter this on the line for Find what: Path=\
5. Enter this on the line for Replace with: Path=\QVBooks\
6. Click on "Replace All" and save the Volume.ini file.
7. Copy/Paste the Volume.ini file from your desktop to this new location (you may have to overwrite an existing file with the same name):
"C:\Program Files\QuickVerse 2007\Volume.ini"
Run this batch file:
1. Close QuickVerse.
3. On XP: Double-click the extracted QV2007Books.bat file.
4. On Vista / Windows 7: Right-click the extracted QV2007Books.bat file and select "Run as Administrator".
5. Open QuickVerse 2007 and verify the books are now in the library.
